Update
Finally moved into San Francisco! Took like 2 weeks, but we’re finally here (although we’re gonna have to go back to OC in september and get the stuff we couldn’t fit in our car).
Feels like an eternity since I worked on my project, since I left my desktop computer in SF. In any case, worked on unwrapping the center and largest piece and decided to get the collision boxes for it done. This is what I ended up with:

Made some test tileable textures, plus a bit of a placeholder texture for the duct!

The version I had before was too high res and complicated to finish. So I re-did it and this is what I got:

next up
the middle of my room needs some stuff so I decided to model this piece from a different scene:
Testing stuff
Modified some of the wall panels because they looked repetitive. Also, added some colored lighting to see how it looks.
Also, those red lights are particle emitters. The emitter builder (Unreal Cascade) is friggin’ crazy. So much to learn, so little time..
