Airplane
Switched to Maya to see if I still remember how to use it (it’s been a while). Did the unwrap there.
It took me a while. The hardest part, I think, were finding out the tricks equivalent to the ones I’m used to in 3dsmax (like keyboard shortcuts, or cleanup). Overall I think I did pretty good for not having used this program since…2006, I think.
On to modeling the rest of my scene.
Airplane (WIP)
Added some detail and so far the polycount is around 5,050 polys. I could add more later but for now I think I’m gonna unwrap this. Unwrapping is most definitely the most tedious part,…the texture painting, I enjoy.

Airplane
Starting a new project, this time I’m gonna try and create the “blueprints” for a plane on illustrator (so I can brush up my skills) then model it in 3dsmax, and then zbrush for details.
Quick sketch of a seaplane I doodled.
Scrapyard Living Quarters
Ok, so it doesn’t look like the house in the drawing… But since it’s my design I can do whatever I want with it XD, I just started modeling and this came out; It has a helipad and a Hangar, for a Hind Helicopter and Harrier (haven’t started on the ‘copter yet, but it will come soon once I texture this house =p )

WIP

I started by modeling the Harrier, my idea is to have little piles of different machines and Airplanes; makes for good practice, I think
WIP

This scene takes place in the near future, the idea was to create a scrapyard in the future, filled with present-day vehicles, machines and appliances. Need to change the color of the road, kinda looks like the golden road from Oz right now….For some reason the color it had before didn’t contrast enough…I guess the dirt in the piles is too dark..
It’s still in the works.
